Nearly every interaction I had with this dealership showcased their lack of knowledge on my car and their inability to act with even an ounce of due diligence. They held my car for nearly two months waiting on parts to fix something that they inaccurately diagnosed from day 1. Only upon pulling my car into the garage TWO MONTHS LATER to fix what they initially thought was broken did they realize it was something else, which then spurred on another waiting period for the correct part. To be specific, I took my car in because of something I described as a shaking, hesitation, or hiccuping when I accelerated. Keep in mind, my car had less than 2,000 miles when this issue began. I was initially told that they couldn’t get me in for 2 weeks, after the issue began to get worse they moved my appointment up a few days. They diagnosed the problem with my vehicle as being a faulty “torque converter”, a component of the transmission, a part which was on back order. They informed me that they did not recommend driving the car in the meantime because further damage could occur which could ruin the entire transmission. I understood, and they kept my car in their parking lot. The torque converter part arrived with a week, yet I continued to wait for another 6 weeks for two seals that were necessary to fix the car. On multiple occasions various individuals at the dealership would tell me that they were going to start on the repair “the next day” and then I would find out they were waiting for another seal or that there was some other delay. I never once received a loaner vehicle until I finally complained to the general manager. The final seal was sent only after I PERSONALLY contacted General Motors. Once all the initially ordered parts had finally been received, a mechanic drove my car into the garage to begin fixing it and noticed signs indicating that the entire transmission was bad. AFTER IT SAT IN THEIR PARKING LOT FOR NEARLY TWO MONTHS BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T WANT ME TO RUIN THE TRANSMISSION! Turns out it needed an entirely new transmission this entire time, a part which arrived much more promptly and could be repaired with a week. I found out that the initial diagnosis was incorrect through someone who knew someone who worked at the dealership, they never once called me personally to inform me of anything. I was consistently the one reaching out for updates throughout this ENTIRE process. In short, I will never choose to purchase a vehicle from this dealership ever again, I will never take my vehicle to be serviced at this dealership service department EVER again, and I am strongly considering trading my vehicle in for something else after only 7 months of owning it (2 months of which it sat in their parking lot) because of how awful my experience has been.

I dropped my car off on 4/18/25 for overheating, oil change and to get the grease off my headliner and visor they got on it last service. I did NOT hear from them until 7/2/25 wanting me to come get my car as the mileage on the rental was almost up. I was on vacation for the holiday and hadn't heard a word from them on the status of my vehicle. They brought me my vehicle on 7/4 and I had to look at service sheet to see what was done. Stated on the overheating, not duplicated but they drove it 300 miles. I then pulled out of my driveway and it overheated immediately. Have contacted them today with no return contact yet. Ryan my advisor is amazing, as for the mechanics or whatever not so much.

I had to have my car towed to the Joplin, MO Skyway GMC Buick dealership. It was having a battery/power/connection issue and was repaired by a Serviceman named Ryan. He kept in touch with me to let me know what the problem was and when it was ready to pick up. He was very professional and I appreciated his honesty! Since we purchased the Enclave we have had it in 3 times for oil change and each time ask about the screeching brakes. We were told this time it’s because they changed the break pads that the screeching is normal. This is just not acceptable. Breaks don’t screech.
