2025 GMC Canyon

GMC offers the 2025 Canyon in Elevation, AT4, and Denali trim levels. All come with raised off-road suspension and all-terrain tires. The Elevation features 18-inch Dark Gray-painted aluminum wheels, LED headlights, and 9.6 inches of ground clearance. An EZ Lift-and-Lower tailgate and LED foglamps are some of the additions to the AT4. The top-tier Denali boasts 20-inch diamond cut Dark Gray alloys and chrome rectangular assist steps, while the AT4X with the AEV Edition Package comes equipped with stamped-steel bumpers, wheel flares, and 35-inch mud-terrain blackwall tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.

All 2025 Canyon features a 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder engine with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. It works with an eight-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Elevation, while the Denali and AT4 come with four-wheel drive.

The Canyon backs up its looks with performance. The AT4 with the AT4X AEV Edition Package races from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds yet excels off-road. Towing capacity varies: Elevation, AT4, and Denali trim levels are rated to pull up to 7,700 pounds, while the AT4 with the AT4X or AT4X AEV Edition Package handles 6,000 — enough for most recreational needs.

The Canyon Denali has a 10.5-inch ground clearance, and all models feature an off-road suspension with a 2-inch factory lift and an ultrawide stance for improved approach and departure angles. Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers are available on the AT4. The drive mode selector on Denali and AT4 trim levels includes Normal, Terrain, Tow/Haul, and Off-Road settings.

An 11.3-inch diagonal GMC Premium Infotainment System with Google built-in and an 11-inch color driver information center come standard. A 6.3-inch multicolor head-up display is available on the AT4 and Denali. All models provide Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and wireless phone charging is available on the AT4 and standard on the Denali.

The AT4 and Denali have heated driver and front passenger seats (optional on the Elevation). The Denali's seats also come with ventilation functionality, also available on the AT4. Seat trim ranges from cloth in the Elevation to perforated leather in the Denali. The top two models have an eight-way power driver seat adjuster.

GMC's Pro Safety suite is included on all models. It incorporates forward collision alert, following distance indicator, IntelliBeam headlights, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and front pedestrian and bicyclist braking. Technologies such as rear park assist, rear cross-traffic braking, and blind zone steering assist with trailering are also standard. The Denali has HD Surround Vision, which is available on the AT4. The National Highway Safety Traffic Safety Administration awarded the 2025 GMC Canyon a four-out-of-five overall rating.
